All adventurers want out of life is excitement, profit and maybe a little notoriety. However, when the world conspires to force them in to the path of destiny they are faced with little choice but to stare into the abyss and hope that they'll come out the other end smiling. A war-mongering Tartarian General and his demon tainted army threaten the freedom of all mortals whilst above the God's are having a spat of their own. Seemingly no one else is able to stop them until a small group of rag-tag adventurers, mercenaries and thieves find themselves with the unenviable task of saving it.
